Babington House Wedding Photographer
Stylish reportage wedding photography at Babington House.
Babington House is a Grade two listed, early Georgian manor hiding in the Somerset countryside. It is an ideal situation for somerset wedding photographers to create beautiful reportage wedding photography.
Part of the Soho House Group, what sets it apart from other small hotels is that it has been impeccably designed as a home from home for the rich and famous.
The 32 bedroomed members' hotel has been furbished with luxury and convenience in mind. Not exclusively for members' use, any one of the individually designed bedrooms, which includes the fabulous Playroom, would provide a delightful anniversary surprise night away from home. Weddings at Babington House are exceptionally unique and stylish and as such, this is one of Allister's favourite venues for creating reportage wedding photography and photojournalism in Somerset.
The following day you can be pampered in the Cowshed Relax Spa or enjoy the various activities located on the eighteen acre estate. These include a heated pool (indoors too), tennis courts, croquet and cricket and, not forgetting, the use of the conveniently placed hammocks dotted about the place.
Open twenty four hours, year round, their service is exemplary. Conviviality is the name of the game and you don't have to dress up to experience it.
Now, if you would like to get married at Babington House there is a restriction in that it is only available during the week from Monday to Thursday. But you would have the whole place to yourself including all the bedrooms. Your maximum party size would be 130 and, of course, Babington has a dedicated events team to sort it all out for you.
Their library is licenced for civil ceremonies but their private chapel is just a few short steps away from the front door of the manor, making this exclusive place a perfect self contained wedding venue and a great opportunity for the Somerset wedding photographer to capture reportage wedding photography.
