Wedding Photography In Berkshire

Berkshire is a small county with two identities and so wedding photographers have many opportunities to create exquisite and unobtrusive wedding photography. In the west it is quite rural but only fifty miles to the east it butts up to London and the large conurbations of Slough, Reading and Bracknell are fabulous canvases for wedding photography in Berkshire.

The county's character is influenced by transport whether it be by road, rail or canal. The Kennet and Avon canal was the only way to move goods around in a big way but was over taken by the new steam railway. The restored canal and barges are perfect locations for romantic documentary wedding photography.

To the west the river Lambourn originates from the home of 50 famous racehorse stables and meanders through the beautiful Lambourn valley to Newbury. Both Newbury and Windsor have superb racecourses and exciting venues and just over the border Royal Ascot offers a comprehensive events package. These are thrilling locations for wedding photography.

Windsor in the east of the county is dominated by its thousand year old castle. It was adored by Queen Victoria who opened the State Apartments to the public in 1845 and the town has been a tourist destination since. So, a historic and often stunning setting for photography.
