"Just wanted to say thank you personally - truly wonderful memento's of the day, all of them. Such a whirlwind at the time, it was heart warming to sit down and absorb the day again at a gentle pace.

Endless stunning pictures, cinematic even. I know Jenny has been in touch with thanks - but only right you have mine too. I need a list of superlatives to insert here to do justice to your work. Many many thanks."

Frequently asked questions…

How do we book?

If you’d like to book me to photograph your wedding you'll need to get in touch via my contact form to check availability. You’ll need to pay a small booking fee of £300 to secure your date, this is deducted from your final balance,

How many images will we receive?

The number of photos varies a little based on event duration, weather, and guest count, but my typical wedding cover (8 to 10 hours) provides between 300 and 500 unique images, all available in both black and white and colour.

How long will it take for the photos?

Images are ready within 6 to 8 weeks of the wedding. I always aim to try and deliver them sooner than this if possible.

Do you do group photographs?

Documentary wedding photography doesn’t automatically rule out the need for groups shots. I regularly do around 3 group photographs at each wedding and will request a group photo list before the wedding day.

Do you do posed couple portraits and if so, when?

I’ll usually spend 5 to 10 minutes with couples during the first 15 minutes of their drinks reception. My portraits are simply a bi-product of a nice walk in a pretty environment. I don’t pose couples. Instead, I want these portraits to blend seamlessly with the natural coverage.

Are the images ours?

You'll receive your wedding images in a high-resolution, watermark-free digital format. Feel free to download, share, and print as often as you like.

Black and white and colour, what is your process?

I always photograph everything in colour and provide couples with a full colour and a full black and white set of images.

Do you have back-up equipment?

Yes, I always have at least three cameras and multiple lenses, it’s exceptionally rare that a technical issue occurs but in the event that it does, I’m covered!

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I've been a full-time wedding photographer since 2004, and have shot over 1000 weddings to date. I've documented weddings of most faiths and cultures and have worked in hundreds of different locations and venues, and across the globe!

Should I add a second photographer?

Second photographers are ideal for weddings where there are more than 100 guests to ensure more consistent coverage of wedding guests is achieved. It's also useful to add a photographer when multiple locations are involved. An additional photographer can easily be added to any package.

Do you offer Engagement Shoots?

Yes, I do. Roughly half my couples every year decide to add an Engagement Shoot to their wedding photography package. Rest assured these shoots are very relaxed and adhere to my documentary approach.

Will you be photographing our wedding?

Yes! It will be me photographing your wedding, my name will be shown clearly on the contract between us.

Are you fully insured?

I have full, professional insurance to cover every aspect of my wedding photography services.

Does it matter if you haven’t worked at my venue before?

No! If I haven’t worked at a venue before I factor in a venue visit on the morning of the wedding (or before) to familiarise myself.  If you're still concerned, please check to see if I've worked at your venue by running a search on my blog or wedding venue section.

Where are you based and how far will you travel?

I’m based in the Wiltshire town of Devizes but most of my commissions involve wedding photography in London and the surrounding counties. I travel all over the UK and overseas, shooting weddings in France, Austria, Cyprus, Kentucky and even Melbourne!
