Kingston Bagpuize House Wedding Photographer
A wedding photographer's delight, this little gem of a manor house is a surprisingly capacious venue. Located close to Oxford, it can cater for up to 180 seated by using marquee accommodation, attached to the house, and up to 60 dining within the drawing room. For intimate wedding photojournalism in Oxfordshire, the dining room can seat 18 at one table.
As the venue is a family home, it has a very cordial atmosphere which really does help wedding photojournalists to produce meaningful Oxfordshire reportage wedding photography.
Built in 1660, its current style was created between the 1930s and 1970s by a family member whose collection of Chinese artefacts is dotted about the house together with quality antique furniture. The cantilevered oak and pine stairs is a significant feature of the house and invaluable to reportage wedding photographers in Oxford.
Similarly, the parkland and gardens were redesigned in the twentieth century and continue to be developed. The gardens have been planted for year round interest and provide a great backdrop to natural Oxfordshire wedding photography - even in the depths of winter.
Only available on an exclusive basis, the venue is licensed for civil marriage ceremonies, indoors and out, for up to 1000 guests, although there is a church sited within walking distance of the manor if required.
Weddings at Kingston Bagpuize House are exceptionally well run thanks to their experienced in house event planner who will organise every detail for you.
