Natural Wedding Photography at Caswell House | Paul & Samantha

Paul and Samantha's wedding day took place in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire last summer. It was sadly a wedding I didn't get the opportunity to feature on the blog last year. I say sadly, it's actually nice to be selecting from a series of shots that don't feature very grey skies and rain! Their wedding ceremony was held at the grand St Mary's church in Bamtpon, this was swiftly followed by an afternoon and evening wedding reception at Caswell House in Brize Norton - a venue I've been a wedding photographer at many times in the past and am pleased to be recommended by.

I'm particularly fond of this series of shots, and the wedding for that matter. It was a remarkable day with amicable characters, a real mix of tender moments and outrageous fun.

Here's some of my favourite documentary wedding photography from their day.

Documentary wedding photography at Caswell House

Caswell House is a family-run wedding venue situated in stunning Oxfordshire countryside on a working farm. We first photographed a wedding at Caswell House over a year ago and are now proud to be getting regular enquiries for events at this charming Cotswold wedding venue.

The nature of Caswell instantly puts people at ease. In essence it's a relatively blank canvas and this allows couples to put their individual mark on their celebrations - as with all of all the weddings we've done at Caswell. However, this was perhaps the most individual.

I've timed this blog post exceptionally well by complete accident as today is Freddie Mercury's birthday. Gareth, Clare and their fun wedding guests - giddy on Limoncello from the latter part of the afternoon, paid an epic tribute to Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' shortly after the speeches. I'm not going to forget this wedding, mainly because I was laughing so hard for most of the day.

I documented Gareth and Clare's reportage wedding photography at Caswell House in Oxfordshire alongside my associate wedding photographer Andy Rapkins. Here are just a few of my very favourites from the day.

Allister and Andy were unbelievable as part of our Wedding. Not only were they relaxed, professional and extremely amenable, all of our friends commented on how well they blended in and how friendly they both were.

The photographs blew us away, capturing many things we didn't see or simply forgot in all of the haziness of the day, and feel very proud to have such a good way of remembering the day and the atmosphere amongst our guests.

They were also extremely flexible and were happy to stay well into the night as things got a little lively.

Thank you both so much for surpassing all expectations and working so hard for us.
