Documentary Wedding Photography at The Elvetham Hotel | Oliver & Katherine

Oliver and Katherine's charming little wedding took place at The Elvetham in Hampshire just a few days before Christmas.

I really enjoy working at The Elvetham, weddings there are always particularly intimate and relaxed. It's pretty dark inside, especially in December!

The softly-lit rooms provide the ideal atmosphere for guests to mingle and relax in and in the right atmosphere, we can often work significantly closer to groups of people and produce much more dramatic reportage wedding photography.

Below are just a few of my very favourites from this touching, warm and epsecially family-orientated wedding in Hampshire. I was accompanied by one of my long term students Ian Martindale who continues to impress.

Documentary wedding photography at The Elvetham Hotel

I documented Sarah & Andrew's ceremony at St Lukes Church in Reading and their wedding reception at The Elvetham in Hampshire.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures you've created for us. They're so natural and honest.

We were so lucky with the weather and the outside shots in the winter sunshine are amazing and really capture the essence of the day. We can't stop looking at them! They take us right back, with absolute clarity. We will never have to worry about forgetting.

When we were looking for our photographer your portfolio really stood out to us. We loved your black and white photos and you've captured some amazing portraits of our family and friends that we really treasure.

When we showed your photography to friends they all said they are the best wedding photographs they had ever seen and we would certainly agree (if not being a little biased!)

Best wishes to you and your family"
