How would you describe your style?
In essence, I don't dictate or direct but instead observe to discreetly cover events as they happen. I photograph your day as it naturally unfolds, capturing real moments and creating a timeless record of your day.

Are you fully insured?
I have full, professional insurance to cover every aspect of my wedding photography services.
Do you have back-up equipment?
Yes, I always have at least three cameras and multiple lenses, it’s exceptionally rare that a technical issue occurs but in the event that it does, I’m covered!
How long have you been a wedding photographer and how many weddings do you shoot each year?
I've been a full time wedding photographer since 2004, averaging 40 weddings a year. I've documented weddings of most faiths and cultures and have worked in hundreds of different locations and venues, and across the globe!
How many images will we receive and do we get usage rights?
Images numbers largely depend on how much coverage you opt for in your package and whether you add a second photographer. During a typical wedding day, you will receive between 300 and 500 images. You are assigned full and unrestricted usage rights to print and distribute yourselves.
Do you do group photographs?
Documentary photography doesn’t automatically rule out the need for groups shots. I regularly do around 3 group photographs at each wedding and will request a group photo list prior to the wedding day.
Will you be photographing our wedding?
Yes, it will be me photographing your wedding, my name will be shown clearly on the contract between us.
Do you photograph in colour and black and white and do you edit all of the images?
I photograph everything in colour, only converting to black and white during the later stages of post production. The final collection of images tends to be 50% colour, 50% black and white. I can easily supply you with a full colour set if required.
Does it matter if you haven’t worked at my venue before?
No. If I haven’t worked at a venue before I factor in a venue visit on the morning of the wedding (or before) to familiarise myself.
How long after the wedding will the photographs be ready?
Your images are ready within 6 to 8 weeks following the wedding. I always aim to try and deliver them sooner than this if possible.
Do your prices include VAT?
My weddings are not subject to VAT.
Can we meet or chat?
If you would like to chat over the phone, meet me in person or even over Skype, just get in touch and we can easily get something into the diary.
