Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury are simply stunning. We all have our favourites and this is mine, I don’t think you’ll find a better wedding venue in the county. There is just something so unique about this place and I feel privileged to have worked here on a number of occasions.
The gardens themselves are beautiful, the lighting is fantastic and the buildings spectacular. But beyond that, it’s the staff. They just seem to ‘get it’ that each wedding should be unique and reflect the couples that are getting married. Consequently, the type of couple that marry at Abbey House Gardens are very special and have total faith in the documentary approach to wedding photography.
Besides, who can say no to the possibility of bumping into The Naked Gardeners…

Chris and Lucy’s wedding at Abbey House Gardens in Wiltshire was on a beautiful summers day, with blue sky’s and a warm breeze. That’s just as well as I was ‘fortunate’ enough to run into Ian who was taking the ‘dressed’ day a little loosely!
This wedding is one of my favourites from the whole year and it’s no surprise that some of the photos made their way into my portfolio. It felt like every direction I turned I had the chance to create a stunning image. It’s a combination of the people and venue that doesn’t come together that often but today was simply a perfect wedding.
