Ardington House in Oxfordshire is a magnificent Georgian mansion set it beautiful gardens right next to the Ardington Brook – a picturesque local river running through the venues grounds that feeds the lake.
Some wedding venues are hard to capture in words and Ardington House is one of those places. There is such a feeling of space and tranquility here, and the number of options available gives each wedding a different feel.

I documented a simple wedding blessing held at the delightful St Mary’s Church in Uffington. Following the ceremony we moved on to Ardington House for the rest of the day.
With the marquee down by the lake and the pleasant late spring/early summer weather everyone was very laid back and relaxed – perfect for my style of informal documentary coverage.
