Gate Street Barn is a beautiful country barn tucked away in the gorgeous Surrey countryside. Whilst it is built in the traditional style, it was actually constructed in the 1980’s from Oak trees lost in the 1987 ‘hurricane’.
The barn complex is very large, easily catering for larger weddings and made up of more than one barn so there is a great deal of flexibility here.
This was the first time we had worked here and it was an unusual feeling working at such an authentic traditional venue knowing it had in fact been built less than 30 years ago.
Kathryn and James were incredible to work worth, really embracing the documentary approach that we specialise in and allowing us the freedom to create a beautiful set of images for them.
Another bonus at this wedding was that we also got to meet the Kalm Catering team who regularly work at Gate Street Barn. Their food is unbelievably good and we were absolutely spoilt rotten!
A few of our favourite photos are in the gallery below for you to enjoy. They will give you a great insight into my style and documentary approach and how well it works for weddings at Gate Street Barn.
