Kingscote Barn in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside could be held up at the quintessential country barn wedding venue. Its rustic charm belies a highly polished and modern refurbishment that manages to bring the venue into the 21 century without losing its historic charm – no mean feat!

The barn itself retains its original exposed stonework and wood beams, which make for a really authentic feel and are a lovely background for your wedding photography.

Kingscote Barn is a fairly small venue not suited to huge weddings, but for those intimate traditional English ceremonies, it is perfect. During the summer months, you can take advantage of the terraced garden with its views out over the surrounding farmland. It really is a beautiful and very traditional backdrop for your wedding day.

Gareth and Nicola’s Wedding at Kingscote Barn

Gareth and Nicola’s beautiful summer wedding at Kingscote Barn in Gloucestershire is a great example of the traditional English wedding. Both of them were great characters and very welcoming. This attitude extended to the guests too and allowed me to create some fantastic images.

Being the summer, we managed to take advantage of the weather and get out on the terraced garden. The passing grey clouds failed to put anyone off enjoying the stunning views of the Cotswold countryside.
