Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey is a wonderful country retreat hidden away from the fast paced life of the local area but still just a few minutes from major roads like the M3. The hotel itself is huge and very elegantly decorated. From the moment you arrive you know that you have found a touch of class.
Like most of the hotels in the ‘Exclusive Hotels’ chain, Pennyhill Park comes with on site Spa treatments and a full 18 hole golf course, not to mention ample accommodation for all your guests.
From my point of view, the best thing about Pennyhill Park is the lighting. It doesn’t seem to matter what time of year it is, the lighting is always easy to work with. That’s a top priority as a photographer and allows me to create some stunning images as you’ll see in the galleries below.
Philip and Sarah’s wedding at Pennyhill Park Hotel
Philip and Sarah’s spectacular wedding at Pennyhill Park was a feast for the eyes. Sometimes, things just come together – great couple, fun guests, fantastic lighting and a great venue. This wedding was just one of those occasions. Add to that a plethora of delicate moments (especially Philip with his Grandfather) and that moment of worry when the bride is late and this is a truly special wedding.
Of course, the weather was great too and we managed to take advantage of the beautiful terrace garden. The low October sun provided some fantastic light and just enough warmth to stop Sarah freezing as we took a walk around the ground. Pennyhill Park really does offer a brilliant venue for any wedding day as you’ll see in the images below.
