I’m Allister Freeman, a professional Gloucestershire wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Stonehouse Court wedding photography page.
Stonehouse Court near Stroud in Gloucestershire is a grand venue for any wedding day. Set in several acres of beautifully manicured grounds and overlooking the Stroud Vallery, it’s the perfect place for your celebration.
One of the things I like about Stonehouse court is the variety of weddings it can accommodate. Due to the size and various rooms it can happily cater to small intimate weddings, or expand to exclusive hire of the whole manor for the larger marriages. With such variety, it’s never boring photographing weddings here.

I honestly love this venue! Stonehouse Court just offers so many benefits to a photographer – plenty of space, great light, it’s beautiful indoors and out and guests are always kept relaxed and well catered for by the fantastic staff.
Ben and Gemma’s wedding is a great example of the points above. Of course, it helps that they’re a fantastic couple, great fun and blessed with great looks but put that together with such a great venue and you get something special. Stonehouse Court has a few different areas where you can have your ceremony and Ben and Gemma went for the outdoor Pergola, which was a great choice for the sunny summers day.
We also managed to take a quick walk following the ceremony and get some great photos down by the canal just outside the back gate. But things really came alive in the evening with a traditional Croquet game on the lawn, impromptu football game, a bouncy castle, some ‘elegant’ limbo dancing and a very ‘revealing’ after party!
I’ve selected just a few of my favourite photos from the wedding for you to view below so enjoy this brilliant venue and amazing wedding…
