The Tudor Barn in Burnham is a 16th Century gem set in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. It’s historic character is the perfect backdrop for any wedding but it’s spacious modern additions ensure guests are comfortable and well sheltered from the traditional British weather.
I love September weddings, there is something magical about the low angular light you get as the days start to get shorter. Matt and Cassie’s September wedding at the Tudor Barn is just such an example of this.
Following the ceremony that was held at the local church we made the short trip to the barn. As the days were getting colder only a few guests were brave enough to venue outside, but the Tudor Barn has more than enough room inside for most wedding that everyone still had a great time.
Whenever I look back through my work, there is usually one thing that stands out for me, and here it was the dancing. Some people just have that annoying skill to look great when throwing a few shapes and Matt and Cassie were definitely in that category. I sit firmly in the ‘Dad dancing’ category so I’m always jealous when people can actually move without looking like a complete wally!
Anyway, here a a few of my favourite photographs from the wedding day…
