I’m Allister Freeman, a professional Cornwall wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Widemouth Manor wedding photography page.
Widemouth Manor Hotel in Bude, Cornwall is a stunning cliff-top venue with incredible sea views. Situated right on the coast, the Hotel is a stylish and elegant modern building set in one of the UK’s most amazing coastal landscapes.
It’s only a short walk from the Widemouth Manor Hotel down to the beach at Widemouth Bay, a gorgeous beach perfect for a wedding day walk.

It’s always a bit nerve-racking photographing another wedding photographers wedding, but Ian and Naomi were absolutely brilliant and welcomed me fully into their day. It’s been a turbulent few months for Naomi and Ian with the very sad and unexpected passing of Naomi’s mother. It’s a testament to their infectiously positive outlook and amazing determination that the day went ahead as planned.
We managed to spend a few minutes down on the beach below the Widemouth Manor Hotel, the beautiful evening light and overcast sky helped create some fantastic images. Later in the evening, the guests launched a set of Chinese Lanterns – I’m not sure how much longer these will remain legal after all the fires and animal injuries caused so it was a nice opportunity to capture what might soon be a very rare event indeed!
I’ve selected a few of my favourites from the wedding day to share with you below – keep an eye out for the odd socks…
