Wedding Photojournalism in Chessington, Surrey | Louise & Gene
What an amazing wedding! Louise and Gene's day was absolute perfection, it was both meticulously planned and exceptionally relaxed, I'm so pleased with the subsequent Surrey wedding photography.
They had a humanist ceremony in a tipi at Louise's family home in Chessington, Surrey. The weather was incredible that day and we were treated to some particularly moving readings as well as some spectacular music by members of the family.
The drinks reception took place in the gardens, with the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment in a second, even more impressive tipi!
I'm so pleased with the final collection wedding photojournalism, helped no doubt by the very candid and fun nature of the day.
Below are just a few of my very favourites from Louise and Gene's wedding. I had the pleasure of one of our long term students, Steph, shooting with me on the day. Steph is in the final stages of her programme and her work continues to impress. Read more about our long term mentoring.
Berkshire Documentary Wedding Photography | Monkey Island in Bray
Patrick and Jenny’s Berkshire wedding was such fun to document, it was exceptionally candid and everyone was clearly very relaxed and having a great time. I’ve worked as a wedding photographer at Monkey Island in Bray, Berkshire, many times over the years, it’s such a quirky little venue with lots of varied and very interesting light spilling into each room, so during a particularly wet wedding (which this one was!), you can carry on working indoors with little or no impact to your style. Thankfully the rain broke every now and then and when it did, we had beautifully bright spells of sunshine.
With the final of the world cup playing, Jenny and Patrick were kind enough to leave the TV on in the bar!
Enjoy.
