Natural wedding photography at Bix Manor

I'm delighted to feature some more reportage wedding photography documenting another chilly, low light winter wedding.

Ross and Annabelle's intimate day was perfectly planned and took place at Bix Manor and the stunning countryside surrounding Henley on Thames in Berkshire. It's been one of my favourite winter weddings to cover recently, not least because of how charming both families have been to work with.

Before the big day I got to know the couple a little more during a pre wedding photo shoot, these are incredibly useful in order to build rapport prior to the wedding. If you're interested in adding a pre wedding shoot to your wedding photography package, which can take place in a variety of locations, simply get in touch.

Ross and Annabelle's traditional wedding ceremony took place at St Margaret's Church in Harpsden and was swiftly followed by a warm and cosy wedding reception at Bix Manor, just ten minutes drive from the church. Bix Manor was the perfect choice for the couple as it is superbly and professionally run, actively encouraging a natural and relaxed atmosphere.

Below are just a few favourites from my Henley on Thames documentary wedding photography.

Natural Wedding Photos at Bath Assembly Rooms

Bath is a particularly stunning city due to its incredibly rich array of architectural attractions. It also has some really nice parks and public gardens, so it's also an ideal location for portraiture and engagement photography.

Carol and Martin's Bath wedding was impeccably planned.

The day started with Carol's bridal preparations which were held at the delightful Queensberry Hotel, we then had a two-minute walk to St Mary's Church for a traditional service before we hopped in the wedding car to create some bride and groom portraiture in The Royal Crescent.

Finally, we were driven to The Assembly Rooms for the wedding reception, which coincidently is a five-minute walk from St Mary's church.

Anyone that knows Bath will appreciate how much easier this made things, particularly on a Saturday when parking and traffic can be a real issue!

The day ran incredibly smoothly and below are my favourite 40 from both the engagement shoot in Bath followed by the wedding itself.
