Documentary Wedding Photography at Botleys Mansion | Larry and Noni

Noni and Larry's wedding is one I will never forget, it was perhaps the most energetic, loud, fun and positive wedding I've had the pleasure of documenting to date.

It was also pretty relentless with at least 15 hours of coverage for us. We produced both the stills and cinematography during the commission. The wedding ceremony took place in central London and the reception at Botleys Mansion in Surrey - a breathtaking venue and part of the prestigious Bijou group.

It's a place I'd wanted to work at for quite some time and it did not disappoint. The grounds were beautiful during this summer day with strong sun and tall, back-lit grass, my two favourite ingredients for creating relaxed portraiture of the bride and groom.

Although my style is predominantly reportage I still do a few family group photographs and couple portraits at most weddings.

Here are my very favourites from this fast-paced African wedding, Surrey wedding photography.

Small Wedding at Danesfield House | Mark & Joanna

I documented Mark and Joanne's intimate wedding at the breathtaking Danesfield House in Buckinghamshire recently. This delightful venue overlooks the Chiltern Hills and is such a great backdrop for any wedding.

I actually photographed for just under an hour and a half at the wedding - perhaps my shortest wedding to date, however, within this short period of time I created some images that I'm particularly fond of.

The wedding was a simple and exclusive affair with Mark and Joanne inviting only their very closest friends and family.

Here are just a few of my very favourites from my reportage wedding photography coverage.

Natural Wedding Photography at Caswell House | Paul & Samantha

Paul and Samantha's Oxfordshire wedding photos were created last summer. It was sadly a wedding I didn't get the opportunity to feature on the blog last year. I say sadly, it's actually nice to be selecting from a series of shots that don't feature very grey skies and rain!

Their wedding ceremony was held at the grand St Mary's church in Bampton, this was swiftly followed by an afternoon and evening wedding reception at Caswell House in Brize Norton - a venue I've been a wedding photographer at many times in the past and am pleased to be recommended by.

I'm particularly fond of this series of shots, and the wedding for that matter. It was a remarkable day with amicable characters, a real mix of tender moments and outrageous fun.

Here's some of my favourite documentary wedding photography from their day.
