Wedding Photography in Brighton & Wiltshire by Photographer Allister Freeman

I met up with Rob and Anna in Brighton earlier in the year for a very relaxed pre wedding shoot. The weather had been absolutely appalling on the drive down and at one point the traffic on the motorway stopped due to torrential rain, so Josh and I were particularly lucky during the shoot! They'd just visited the registrars when we met, having wanted to perform the legal part of the marriage in order to then free things up for their beautiful marquee wedding and blessing on Anna's parents farm in Devizes, Wiltshire. As you'll see in the ceremony section, having no attending registrars meant that I could actually have a little room to breathe during the blessing and, with the extra freedom, get some much more imaginative shots.

Hi Allister,

We can’t explain how thrilled we are with our photos. We can’t stop looking at them and each time we do, we notice something new in the background of a moment that you have captured. It is stunning how you caught the mood of the wedding and the personalities so beautifully.

Everyone who has seen them has commented on how sensitive and equally humourous they are – you have converted all the people who wanted traditional posed photos! We had very high expectations having seen your portfolio and you totally exceeded them.

Rob and I are amazed at the moments you captured as we totally didn’t know that you were there! Likewise in the morning we all commented that you felt part of the family and so unobtrusive throughout the day.

Thank you for putting up with the rain (both times!) and having such a sense of humour about it! Hope the suit isn’t too ruined!

Thank you so much again x

PS thanks for making us look good too!
