Natural Bury Court Barn Wedding | Lucy & Paul

A lovely sunny and warm wedding from last season that I’ve been meaning to post on the blog for a while - Lucy and Paul’s natural Bury Court Barn wedding in Surrey was absolutely beautiful.

Their wedding ceremony actually took place at St Mary's Church in Bentley, just a moments drive from Bury Court Barn and a church I’ve photographed at many times before.

A vibrant drinks reception was swiftly followed by some particularly emotional speeches, plenty of dancing and, thanks to a balmy summer evening, some late night mingling, pizza making and marsh mallow roasting!

I’m fortunate enough to be a recommenced photographer at Bury Court Barn - something I’m particularly proud of. I get to see the venue evolve over the year, especially the stunning gardens. The light in the barn, particularly as the daylight fades and the ambient light strengthens, is incredibly rewarding to work in and ideal for discreet and natural wedding photography.

Tom and I just wanted to say a quick thank you for being our wedding photographer.

We had lots of comments as to how professional and friendly you were, you definitely made us both feel at ease and we forgot that you were even there!

We know we haven't yet seen the photos, but we both wanted to say thank you sooner as without even seeing the images we know you will have done an amazing job!

Relaxed Bury Court Barn Wedding | Sara & Steve

Sara and Steve’s beautiful Surrey wedding photography took place in the picturesque village of Bently.

A church service held by Steve’s friend and colleague, an RAF padre, at All Saints Church in Oldham was shortly followed by their afternoon and evening reception at the delightful and very familiar Barn at Bury Court; a stunning venue where I’m privileged to be a recommended supplier.

The entire wedding had a great atmosphere, with heartfelt speeches followed by a surprise (and spectacular) aerobatic display courtesy of a family friend.
