In This Moment | Urgh!

I absolutely love this image because it's captured one of the pageboys, who also happens to be the groom's son, in absolute and genuine disgust at the sight of the bride and groom kissing!

My 9-year-old son is exactly like this - if there is any sign of physical affection in our house you just see a screwed up face and hear "urgh!".

This wedding photo captures this boy at a very specific time in his life - his personality at this wonderful age shines through and I'm sure it will mean a lot to his parents, I know it would to me.

In This Moment | Just In Time!

I remember this moment with absolute clarity. This was the bride's sister and her (very new!) baby. I made this image during the bridal preparations at the stunning Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury, one of my favourite spots for Wiltshire wedding photography.

What I remember most was the beautiful atmosphere in the room, they were clearly a very close family and having this latest edition arrive just in time for the wedding made for a perfect day.

It was such a tender moment - seeing this first-time, doting mother holding her little baby.

It's moments like these that make me realise just how privileged I am to do the job I do :)

In This Moment | The Walk

It has to be one of the most emotional points at any wedding - the moment the bride enters the ceremony room. Some grooms show absolutely no emotion whatsoever during this brief 30 second period, others, like Andrew, struggle to hold back the tears. I always try and take this position during the ceremony as it gives me a great perspective to be able to capture the bride and groom's reactions, as well as a few close family and friends.

What I like most about this particular frame though is the contrast of expressions between the two of them!
