Documentary wedding coverage at Notley Abbey | Helen & Philip

Helen and Philip's wedding has been the first in recent weeks where images weren't requested to be kept private prior to the commission. We do quite a few weddings where keeping images offline is very important to customers, so thank you Helen and Philip!

I very much enjoyed documenting this charming little wedding in sunny Buckinghamshire, everything but the ceremony took place at the stunning Notley Abbey whilst the church service was held at Appleton Church in neighbouring Oxfordshire.

As usual I worked alongside an associate, this time Ian Martindale, Ian is now a full-time wedding photographer with us and has really embraced his new role. He produced some amazing images on Helen and Philip's day.

Our latest business developments continue to evolve, we're around a month away from a complete brand and website overhaul which will solidify the way the Allister Freeman collective is presented.

We're all super-keen to get stuck into this next exciting chapter of the business and have many ventures in the pipeline including the launch of the wedding and commercial cinematography side of the business later this year.

Without further ado, here's a small selection of my very favourite images from Helen and Philip's big day.

Wedding Photojournalism at The Manor House Hotel | Siobhan & Mark

Siobhan and Mark's small and intimate wedding took place at the delightful Manor House Hotel in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Castle Combe.

The wedding party comprised of Siobhan and Mark's very closest friends and family with Siobhan's coming over from France. It had an endearingly quiet and gentle atmosphere.

I documented this subtle and modest little wedding alongside my long term student and soon to be associate photographer Isabel, who can thankfully speak French!

Natural Wedding Photography at Gate Street Barn | James & Kathryn

I documented James and Kathryn's charming little wedding day alongside my colleague, wedding photographer Ian Martindale who joined our company earlier this year.

We hadn't worked at Gate Street Barn before this wedding and are so glad that we finally had the chance to, Kathryn and James were incredible to work worth, really embracing the documentary approach that we specialise in.

We also got to meet the Kalm Catering team who regularly work at Gate Street Barn, their food is unbelievably good and we were spoilt rotten!
