Natural Wedding Photography at The Royal Exchange In Central London | Holly & Doug

Holly and Doug’s wedding photography in central London was a highly memorable, it was not a small wedding by any means and yet it retained that personal vibe from start to finish. A truly great crowd, some spectacular venues and amazing weather to boot make this wedding one of my favourites of the year to date!

I first met Holly and Doug over a coffee late last year, they struck me then as particularly relaxed and up for having lots of fun at their wedding…  when Barry White began playing mid-main course Holly had the entire top table up and dancing in front of their cheering guests, still chewing. It pretty much summed up the day! This casual, fun attitude made for such a great atmosphere to be a London wedding photographer.

I photographed alongside my colleague wedding photographer Ian Martindale during Holly and Doug’s wedding, this allowed us to create a particularly comprehensive collection of reportage images for the couple and their families. A family heirloom if you will.

Documentary Wedding Photography at The Turkeymill | Kevin & Carly

I photographed Kevin and Carly’s wedding very recently in a particularly sunny Maidstone in Kent. They were both amazing to work with, fully embracing the more relaxed style of my reportage wedding photography.

I’d never worked at the Turkeymill up until now, it’s absolutely stunning with exceptionally well-kept grounds. Inside, each room and space has superb available light which is great for my style as I prefer to avoid the use of intrusive flash.

It was such a memorable wedding to document, the weather was stunning, the venue was beautiful, there were also some really heartfelt speeches from not only the father of the bride, groom and best man but the mother of the bride. This was such a lovely touch and I’m sure it meant a great deal to Carly and the rest of the family.

Indian Wedding Photography Priston Mill, Bath

Wow, what a day!

Holly and Jay's incredibly well-planned wedding was such fun to document. Their civil ceremony was immediately followed by a very fun and playful Indian wedding ceremony by a local priest - just the right level of humour and he kept every one that wouldn't have understood certain parts of the ceremony included, which was a great touch.

The civil ceremony was memorable too with a reciting of what sounded like the most poetic reading, only a few sentences in we all realised it was an impeccably well-delivered 21 Questions by 50 Cent.

The whole day had such a great atmosphere and everyone seemed like they were having a fantastic time.

I've photographed weddings at Priston Mill many times now and it continues to be a superb venue. The barn, where the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment took place, always has the most fantastic ambient light to work in; the Mill is ideal for the drinks reception as there's plenty of space for people to mingle over the two upper floors.
