In This Moment | It's Time

A nervous few moments immediately before Nathalia walked to her ceremony in the chapel on the beautiful grounds of Babington House in Frome. I love the moment captured here but also the tones of this image are just stunning, it prints beautifully.

In This Moment | Take five

Karl and Orla's wedding at Lillibrooke Manor was just beautiful, I have so many images from their 2013 wedding which still have pride of place in my wedding photography portfolio. For me though, this image is by far my favourite. It was created during a ten-minute' walk and talk' halfway through the drinks reception - a simple process to help in the creation of exceptionally natural portraiture. For just a few moments Karl and Orla sat along the edge of the field, it was a particularly sunny, dry August that year so the conditions were ideal.

For me, this image represents what this stage of the day is about - taking a moment and spending a precious 5 to 10 minutes with each other before the second half of the day kicks off.

Love this.

Portrait Photography Session in Savernake Forest, Wiltshire

John and Beth's very candid engagement shoot took place in the stunning Savernake Forest on the outskirts of Marlborough in Wiltshire. These shoots are always very natural, I only give couples as many directions as I feel they really need. No cheesy shots. no uncomfortable posing - just a walk in the forest and the bi-product of that walk is beautifully natural portraiture.

Here are just a handful of my very favourites from the 45-minute shoot.
