Weddings are many things; spectacular, exciting, once-in-a-lifetime, beautiful, emotional, anticipatory, a little nerve-wracking…

But the truth is, they’re also quite exhausting! Barely into the ceremony and this little one has already fallen asleep on mum’s shoulder!

One of the best things about documentary wedding photography is that it captures little moments like this. Random, out of sight for most people, yet sweet and memorable.

These are the images that add spice to the day and bring back all the small but infinitely important memories. The things that a couple looks at after the day and laughs about, because they didn’t see that. And the things that get shown at 21st birthday parties years from now :)
