The stunning wedding of Oxana & John at Babington House, in the beautiful rural Somerset countryside.

It was incredibly touching to witness and document Oxana’s strong bond with her father throughout the day, I’m particularly fond of the images created during their emotional walk down the aisle to meet with John as well as her father’s speech, who doesn’t speak a word of English, being translated by the Oxana’s brother.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I always look to photograph the atmosphere of a day as authentically as possible, this includes honestly depicting characters and relationships in my work, meaning any perceived language barrier was simply irrelevant.

All preparations, the ceremony and the reception took place on the gorgeous grounds of Babington House, a Soho hotel and members' club nestled in the heart of Somerset and a particularly favourite venue for me having shot some of my most memorable weddings there in recent years.
